University Assistant

The University Assistant is a degree-level examination. Kerala PSC is to conduct the recruitment with Common Preliminary Exam for Degree Level candidates. Selection will be based on the Written/ OMR/ Online Objective examination. As per the new scheme, Commission may conduct a combined exam based on the educational qualification having Prelims, Mains, and Interviews.

Eligibility Requirements

Age Limit

The candidate should have a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 36 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

Upper age relaxation can be availed by the eligible candidates.

Kerala PSC LP/UP Assistant Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

            The candidates between 18 and 43 years are eligible. This will include candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) can apply.

Educational Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have passed K-TET ( Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by the State Government of Kerala.

OR

  • Candidates who have qualified in SET/NET/Ph.D/CTET/M.Ed in the respective subjects will also be considered for this post. The candidate should possess B.Ed should be in the concerned Language.

10th Level Prelims

  The Kerala Public Service Commission’s 10th Level Prelims Exam is a common preliminary examination conducted for various posts with a 10th qualification (SSLC or its equivalent) from a recognized board of education. The various posts include LGS, LDC, VEO, VFA, APO, IRB Constable, Lab Assistant, etc.

After the prelims examination, Kerala PSC releases separate cut-off marks for each post. Those who clear the cut-off marks will be eligible for the mains examination. The marks of the prelims exam are not taken for making the final list. It is only treated as a screening test.

Kerala Public Service Commission’s 12th preliminary exam (separate cut-off for CPO) qualified candidates will be called for the CPO Mains exam. Degree Level Prelims

  The Kerala Public Service Commission’s degree Level Prelims Exam is a common preliminary examination for all the recruitments which shall be released for various graduate-level posts. After the prelims exam, the commission will conduct post wise mains exam. The various posts include Secretariat Assistant, Sub Inspector of police, Excise inspector, Assistants in Universities, Company/Board assistants, etc.
