The Kerala Public Service Commission’s 12th Level Prelims Exam is a common preliminary examination conducted for various posts with a 12th qualification (plus two or its equivalent) from a recognized board of education. Exam Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification | The applicant must have completed class 12th (plus two or its equivalent qualification) from a recognized board of education.The knowledge of regional language i.e. Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada is mandatory |

Age limit | Candidates between 18 years to 39 years of age can apply for the Kerala PSC 10th Level Preliminary Exam. However, age relaxation on the upper age limit as per the norms decided by the Commission is permissible for applicants belonging to reserved categories. |

Negative Marking | Yes, 1/3 for every wrong answer |

After the prelims examination, Kerala PSC releases separate cut-off marks for each post. Those who clear the cut-off marks will be eligible for the mains examination.
