K-TET is an examination to assess the quality of teacher candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School Classes in Kerala. KTET examination is conducted by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan.

Educational qualifications | BA/BSc/BCom with at least 45 per cent marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognised as equivalent thereto). OR For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who have MScEd Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50 per cent marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MScEd Degree in Life Science with not less than 50 per cent marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education are eligible to apply. OR BA or equivalent with at least 45 per cent marks and who passed in LTTC are eligible to apply. |

The result for KTET is declared on the official website of Pareeksha Bhavan. Candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the exam are declared pass and awarded the KTET certificate. After getting the KTET certificate you can also apply for teaching jobs.
